Drumroll please: These are the winners of the Motive Grant!

After reviewing each and every application in detail, we’re excited to announce the eight incredible winners of the Motive Grant Giveaway!

We’ve loved reading through your ideas and have chosen a diverse set of shops of different sizes with unique visions of how they plan to use the grant to supercharge their growth.

What is the Motive Grant?

At Motive, we're serious about supporting SMEs and independent retailers, and we want to do everything we can to help the growth of local commerce. We also believe that every business knows exactly what they need to do to grow, but that sometimes the budget just isn't there to make an idea a reality or take a risk.

Privacy is also built into everything we do at Motive. It’s not just building privacy into the core of our product, it’s about building privacy into everything we do as a company - including our marketing.

And so while our competitors happily give hundreds of thousands of euros to Meta and Google each year to buy ads, we decided we would rather give that money directly to the SMEs that need it. Why? Because we don’t agree with the profiling and tracking that’s used to display these types of ads, and also because those giant corporations don't need more money anyway.

Instead, we thought it would make more sense to give that money directly to the shop owners instead of investing it in display ads on social media. And so we did just that.
